Mary Trier
President & CEO
Mary founded Capital Communications and Consulting after a successful government career of over 23 years. Her focus on excellence and relationship-building is a guiding principle for our team.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration (marketing and management). She is a creative communicator and passionate leader.

Dolly Rairigh Glass
Vice President, Operations
A true Floridian, Dolly is a University of Florida College of Journalism graduate who loves to tell a story.
Whether writing articles, developing website content or using an editor’s pen, she is dialed in with the client, their message, and their target audience.
Dolly is well-known for her leadership, communications skills, and excellent customer care.

Joyce Naulty Heine
Contracts Manager/
Account Manager
Drawing on her Army experience, Joyce lends strategic management, contracting and logistics skills to the team. She has strong program management experience and is a certified Army acquisition professional.
Joyce has a Bachelor of Science degree in management and leadership.

Rich Viano
Creative Director
Rich is a skilled multimedia designer and self-proclaimed technology nerd. His talent and creativity shows in every website, movie, or graphic element we deliver.
He joined Capital Communications after a 20-year career with the Walt Disney World Company. He is customer focused, passionate, and intent on exceeding customer expectations.

DeAnna Crum
Executive Assistant
& Office Manager
After a decade of experience in commercial office administration, billing and purchasing; and over six years in real estate and property management, Deanna joined Capital Communications as our Office Manager and Executive Assistant.
She expertly handles day-to-day office operations, enabling the communications team to focus on the creative solutions they deliver to our clients.

Sarah Gauvin
Senior Communications Strategist
With 15 years of military and non-profit experience in simulation, military construction, training and doctrine, installation and safety organizations, Sarah is proven operator in strategic communication, media relations, social media, crisis communications, community engagement, legislative relations and journalism.
Sarah holds two Bachelors of Arts degrees from the University of Central Florida – one in Advertising and Public Relations and another in Psychology. She is also a graduate of the Defense Information School.

Mike Dudley
Senior Event Manager
Sergeant Major Michael R. Dudley retired from the United States Army in June, 2006, after 31 years of active duty service. He served as soloist, Group Leader and Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the United States Army Chorale, the premiere mixed vocal ensemble of the United States Army Band (Pershing’s Own) in Washington, DC.
Mike is a freelance voiceover artist, providing professional voice talent for live events, commercials and video productions ranging from broadcast programming to highly technical training films.

Karen Fray
Facility Security Officer
Karen serves Capital Communications & Consulting part time as Facility Security Officer. She is a talented professional with a diverse background in communications and program management.
Throughout her career, she has worked in entertainment, radio and now government contracting. Karen has a master’s degree in administration from Barry University.

Lynne Garrow
Writer, Sr Marketing Expert
An ad agency veteran with over 25 years experience in advertising, public relations and marketing, Lynne has a strong media and operations background. She has shared her expertise with government, non-profit, health care, home services, real estate, technology, retail and education clients.
She brings her talents in traditional and digital media planning and buying; writing and editing and project management, and serves on several Central Florida boards and committees.
Lynne earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising with a specialty in English from the University of Florida, and remains an avid Gators fan.

Rick Gregory
Strategic Communications
Strategic communications is nothing new to Rick. After a career in Public Affairs for the U.S. Army and then an industry communications leader in the Orlando private sector, Rick became a valuable part of the Capital Communications SETA team serving the U.S. Army PEO STRI.
His exemplary work in strategic communications, and his contributions as a writer in the Public Affairs Office have been instrumental in elevating PEO STRI’s publication, Inside STRI, as an award-winning publication within the modeling, simulation and training industry; Army Acquisition; and Department of the Army Public Affairs. He is a vital member of the Public Affairs team at PEO STRI, as well as a key member of the Capital Communications team.

Gardner Lajoie

Marshall Starks
Project Coordinator, Event Coordinator
Marshall graduated in 2016 from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor’s of Science in defense and strategic studies. For several years, he served as an Armor officer at Fort Benning, Georgia, and has hands-on experience in many different military simulators.
With a passion for maximizing team efficiency, as part of his expanding credentials, Marshall recently completed his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification through Georgia Tech. A Central Florida native, Marshall is a lifelong outdoorsman with an intense affection for hunting, fishing, and conservation.

James Wolf
Project Coordinator, Event Manager
As part of our PEO STRI SETA II support team, James brings a long history of service to the simulation industry. His experience in exhibits and logistics is extensive, including support for the PEO STRI (STRICOM) that began with the Capitol Hill Demo Days.
James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems, and his strong interpersonal and communication skills provide great enhancements to the C3 team.
